How to play Roulette - Guide for beginners

I created this page for those who are not familiar with all casino gaming tables. Here you will find a brief explanation on some of my favorite casino games of chance.

How to play Roulette:

• Roulette is based on a numbers board consisting of 36 numbers, in groups of 12, in consecutive order.
• Each number is colored red / black on the roulette table
• Numbers are then chosen by the players on the board by placing casino chips on that particular number.
• The roulette wheel is spun, and the hope is that the ball will land on your chosen number, if it does you win 36 times your bet. If not you lose your bets.

Beware: There are some roulette tables that have a zero and a double zero, on the roulette wheel, these numbers are also part of the roulette wheel so you actually have a 1 in 37 chance of having the ball land on your chosen number or 1 in 38 if it a "double zero" wheel. The more numbers you cover with your casino chips the more you increase your luck of having the ball land on one of the numbers you chose.

Other types of bets you can make in Roulette:

1. The dozen bet: A roulette table numbers are divided into 3 parts by dozens. The first dozen is number 1 - 12, the second dozen is numbers 13 - 24, and the 3rd dozen - from number 25 - 36. When you bet on one of the dozens, it pays 2 - 1 if you win. If you lose you lose your bet.
2. The black / red bet: For the black /red bet, a player bets on the next spin of the ball, whether it will land on a black number or a red number. It really is that simple....Alot of people have won a lot of money choosing black / red.
3. The half board bet: The half board bet in an "outside bet" in which half the board is bet on. Your options for a half bet are numbers 1 - 19 and 20 - 36. This bet pays 1 to 1
4. The column bet: The column bet is much like the dozens bet only by the columns on the board. This bet also pays 2 to 1
5. Even / Odd bet: The odd even bet is when a person bets that the next number that the ball lands on will be an "even number" or an "odd number"

How to win at Roulette:

To win at Roulette you will need lady luck on your side. This entire game is based on a spinning wheel and a little plastic ball that has 37 - 38 options of which number it could land on.

Roulette is not a game someone should do into planning on winning because the odds are stacked against you. If you really want to win money playing roulette I recommend you use a roulette strategy or do what I do. Bet consistently on the same numbers, they have to come up sometime. Or if you are a real math with you can determine when odd even red black etc should come up...and good luck.
